Weta Digital have put together a selection of behind the scenes vignettes of the work done on Peter Jacksons Lovely Bones. The sinkhole sequence was what I was mainly involved with and it’s great to be able to show how much work actually went into those shots. Check them out here.
Bryan’s finished his film, The Peril of Milton Wintry, which was shot some years ago in Sydney. Besides acting in it, I also helped come up with a very rough first draft ( ie. a few glasses of wine and some odd ideas ) and produced the cg fish at the end. Enjoy!

I’ve made a pdf ( with images removed ) of my slides and I’ll be uploading a narrated quicktime soon – it was apparently recorded so I’ll link to that once it’s online.
We couldn’t help notice the blinking blue light coming through the window last night, lo and behold as we drew the curtains a fireman and his ladder were staring back at us. They were busy looking for a fire that seemed to be escaping them in the building across the road. Either that or a cat was missing…
