iPhone development…
by colin
I’m waiting with baited breath to receive the confirmation of my application to join the iPhone developers program so I can begin developing in earnest. I’ve had the SDK for a few weeks now and having spent time with Cocoa and Objective-C for Mac application development, I feel comfortable in this environment. Although an iPhone simulator ships with the SDK, it’s still limited and it seems that until I hear that I’ll be able to actually release any software written ( ie. accepted into the dev program ) it’s premature to try and finalize anything underway.
Although I don’t own an iPhone, a brand new iPod Touch is on it’s way – I waited patiently for the upgrade and price drop as announced through the various Apple community channels and ordered as soon as it was available on the New Zealand Apple store.
Sweet!
