Psyop’s new spot for Fedex, love it!

Shaolin

The beautiful moving pictures of Shaolin are a warm welcome from the erratically paced martial arts movies I’m used to watching – to top it off the cinematography is stunning, more European than Hong Kong.

As usual the fight choreography is amazing, there is a refreshing lack of gratuitous VFX which isn’t missed and Jackie Chan makes a guest appearance which always induces a smile.

Vancouver

We just returned from a week and a half business ( and slight social ) trip to Vancouver – it was great to catch up with friends and see the city under some unusually nice weather conditions.

The first is Vancouver at night, the second is from the West end of Bowen Island.

Dundas

Time has moved on with much of it being spent in the basement office of our new home!  We moved in at the start of March and have since been extremely busy with work though Kirsten has done a great job of making it feel like home.

As opposed to the original plan of Stratford we actually ended up in Dundas which turns out to be the perfect spot for us!  Much closer to the family and still extremely beautiful – nestled in a little valley surrounded by conservation parks.

The weather is changing for the better which means we can take advantage of our new membership to the Royal Botanic Gardens close by in Burlington, a 5 minute drives leads us to the upper access to the Arboretum. A stroll with some seeds is likely to bring visitors…
